On April 8, 2022, a new tradition was born! In the First Annual Horizons GeoBee, the 5th/6th grade teams from our host school partners – Maret School, Norwood School, and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School – faced off in friendly competition as they answered trivia questions in geography, history, and earth science. And, of course, there was some Horizons flair sprinkled in!
Thank you so much to our Horizons Parent Councils from each partner school for organizing, the teams who embraced the challenge, and everyone who joined virtually to cheer them on! We look forward to continuing this new event in partnership with our host schools to continue raising awareness for our program. And congrats to St. Pat’s for taking home the trophy!
