On April 15, Horizons National honored Marjo Talbott, Head of School at Maret School, with the 2021 Andrew Clarkson Award. This award honors an individual for their longevity of commitment, embodiment of the Horizons mission, and work that can be leveraged across the entire Horizons network.
Lorna Smith, CEO of Horizons National, noted that it was Marjo’s determination and commitment to Horizons that led to the beginning of Horizons Greater Washington in 2000, and her outspoken advocacy of the program at conferences, fundraisers, and more that has furthered Horizons’ reach both locally and nationally. Congratulations, Marjo!
