Mary Alas

For Mary Alas, Horizons means “home and hope.” Horizons has played an integral role in their life over the past 14 years as a student, volunteer, Program Assistant, and now as Horizons’ new AmeriCorps VISTA. In this role, Mary continues to pay it forward to the students who are following in their footsteps by expanding our alumni programming opportunities which include regular 1-on-1 check-ins, help navigating the high school and college application process, corporate engagement opportunities, and Horizons social events.
