This April, the Norwood School community is hosting a supply drive to support Horizons Greater Washington - its 2024 Day of Service beneficiary.
Interested in participating? Check out the details below.
- 1. Participate in the Supply Drive for Horizons
- Horizons is seeking book donations to support the costs of providing each student with their own copy of their summer anchor book. Our curriculum uses one anchor book per grade to drive reading fluency and comprehension skills while doing what we do best: encouraging students to see themselves as readers participating in a joy-filled activity that can take them on new adventures!

- Purchased books will be delivered straight to Norwood School.
- 2. Volunteer at Norwood's Day of Service on April 27
- Join us on Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Norwood. Volunteers are needed to help sort and pack individual student kits that will include the donated books as well as classroom supplies, art supplies, and swim gear. See you there!
