As our Summer Program is quickly approaching, we are excited to unveil our highly anticipated Summer Reading List! We believe that reading is a fantastic way to explore new worlds, spark our imaginations, and continue learning even outside the classroom. This carefully curated list features a diverse range of captivating books that we hope will engage and inspire readers of all ages. To read along with our Horizons students please take a look at the reading list.
The community-based organization will be our main meals provider for all three of our summer 2023 program sites to create a more equitable and high-quality experience for our students and families.
Through this innovative partnership, we are introducing new feeder school partners to open up access to Horizons for more students who live and go to school East of the River.
In the First Annual Horizons GeoBee, the 5th/6th grade teams from our host school partners faced off in friendly competition as they answered trivia questions in geography, history, and earth science.
