Lizzie Fox has worked with Montgomery County Public Schools for the past eighteen years as a fifth, second and third grade teacher. She was introduced to Horizons around nine years ago and has since worked with the program in multiple capacities including lead teacher and reading specialist. This past fall she collaborated with a small team to create and implement an after-school tutoring program for Horizons students.

Lizzie received her BA in Anthropology and teaching certificate from Connecticut College. She earned her master’s equivalency through MCPS. She lives in Washington, DC where she enjoys traveling, hiking with her rescue dog, Luka, and spending time with friends and family.
